If you have GPS, or would like to Google directions, it's easiest to use the address for the Roanoke Island Aquarium, which is 374 Airport Rd. Manteo, NC 27954 and right next door to the airport.
If you are coming from the Northern beaches (Corolla, Nags Head area, etc.), head South on the bypass (Rt. 158). At approximately milepost 16, bear to the right following the signs for Manteo. In 3 1/2 miles, bear right again. After approximately 3 1/2 miles, take a left onto Airport Road. You will pass the Roanoke Island Aquarium on your right, and the Manteo Airport is directly ahead. Our office is located in the main airport terminal building, a big grey building with a flagpole; we share an office with Coastal Helicopters.
If you are coming from the South beaches on Hatteras Island (Rodanthe, Salvo, Hatteras, etc.) drive North on Rt. 158. At approximately milepost 16, take a left and follow signs to Manteo.
